Pai Vista is located in the heart of the royal city of Mysore. The city bus terminus is just a stones throw and the railway station is just 10 minutes drive from the hotel. The famous Mysore Palace, the Zoo and St. Philominas Church are all a mere half a km away. The hotel terrace offers a breathtaking view of the Chamundi Hills, which is only 8 to 10 km from Pai Vista. A Location so perfect for someone who comes to this historical city with lots to see and wants to go back with great memories.Geographically, Mysore City is 770m above sea level and covers approximately 11 square kilometers. It is just 140km away from the State capital Bangalore. Mysore City still holds the traditional charm with lots of tourist delights in the form of Historical monuments. Known as the City of Palaces Mysore has always lived up to the expectations of tourists from the world over. Mysore has a rich heritage, well landscaped gardens, sacred temples and traditional customs. Mysore acquires a place in the world map for its famous Dasara celebrations, fine and exotic sandalwood carvings and inlay works.

| The staff was helpful. The room was clean and comfortable, but there were issues with some foul smell coming from the bathroom drain and lot of noise above at night - was informed by the staff that some work is going on. Breakfast buffet was very good. Overall, a nice place. |

| Hotel services are good, very much customer oriented. Though we had an early check-in and late check-out and an extra breakfast, no additinal charges were put for same. If again in Mysore, I will stay in Pai Vista with my family. |

| (1)Room Layout: Room divided into two sections. The first section had comfortable sofas, TV, AC, reasonable large wardrobe and a bathroom. The second section, the bedroom had very comfortable double bed, TV, Independent AC, reasonable large wardrobe with locker and a bathroom (Yes! A second bathroom- This was really helpful as we traveled with two toddlers) (2)Room Quality: Very comfortable, clean and with all required amenities (3)Amenities: The AC was really effective is driving out the summer heat. Two TV helped the kids wanted to see different shows at the same time. The bathroom had toilet kits like shower cap, shaving kit, comb, moisturizer, Shampoo & first aid kit. Although only set was provided for a double room. The bathroom is a little cramped and it has no bath tub, although there is a shower panel in both the bathrooms. There is a swimming pool on the fourth floor and they also provide body massage options at a pretty high fee. We used neither so cannot comment on these. There were about 7 plug points in the room so we could charge our phones, i Pods, PSP at the same time. (4)Service:The room service is excellent. It never took more than 15 mins for food to be served. The front desk staff is also very hospitable and will provide good directions, if you want to go around the city. (5)Dining options:The room came with the breakfast option. Breakfast was served from 7 AM to 10 AM and there was a reminder from the front desk every morning. The breakfast had good South Indian food and limited continental food. Since we enjoy South Indian food, we had a good time. The hotel has two restaurants and a pub. All of them are cozy although a tad cramped. We ordered North Indian dinner in our room and we found that the food quality was very good. (6)Cleanliness:The rooms were cleaned once in a day and they did a good job of cleaning the room. However one time we found that dinner remains were cleared only on the next morning. Overall no issues on this front. (7)Value for Money: The total room rate came up to Rs 4K/per night, which I feel is a little expensive for city like Mysore. The food rates are reasonable. Improvement suggestions: Some of the minibar snacks were nearing the expiry date. Rates can be a little lower (at least 10%). |

| very big and clean rooms and the service is very good. staff very friendly and available to help. breakfast buffet very good. 2 restautants: the cave (a little bit dark) and the jungle on the top with swimming pool, both with excellent food and very professional staff. the travel agency on the lobby is not so good: we had some problems with our train tickets and we have to go to bangalore by taxi. after other "indian" hotels this seems like a paradise. higher price/quality relation.we pay 75 €uros for a double deluxe room with breakfast. the rrom seems a suite: 2 televisions, 2 bathrooms, bed very confortable and with everything you will need in a room. |

The rooms are good with nice flat screen TV, well lit rooms and reasonably responsive service and courteous staff. The food was a pleasant surprise - at the Jungle, their themed restaurant. Ample parking too. It did take me a little while to find the hotel, which is near the bus stand. |

| This hotel is perfect for the traveler and located very strategically . The rooms are very clean and well furnished. The bathroom was like a regular 5 star hotel look. Very clean, had all the shampoos, moisturizers, shower caps etc. Separate shower cubicle, no bath tub though. Room appearance looking very much congested , normal TV can be replaced by plasma or LCD.
